dynanti web design sponsored SOS Radio Week earlier in the year. The event involved individual and groups of Amateur Radio operators from around the UK and Ireland getting themseleves sponsored and making as many contacts as they could over the nine day period. The benificiary of the event was the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
dynanti’s involvement was in the creation of the web site, a web application that enabled the visitors to the web site see who was on the air at any give time (in real time) and the sending of mass emails to participants and those interested in the event.
We’re extremely pleased to say that the event raised a grand total of £3,679.78 and a presentation was made to the RNLI at the recent Norbreck Amateur Radio Rally held in Blackpool during April.
dynanti have announced that they will continue to support the event in to 2011 and are planning a new web site and other interesting web applications.
